This was easily the best women's razor I've ever used. I was pretty skeptical when I got into this campaign, just because I don't typically have the best luck with women's razors. I always end up using one made for men. Women's razor blades typically don't last long, I never get as smooth of a shave, and have to replace the blades really often.
Ok, so now the scoop in the Schick Hydro Silk
Pros:
*Close shave
*Blades last longer than any other women's razor I've used
*Moisture strips really seem to help
*I love the shape of the handle
*The color is cute, although not a must ;)
Cons:
*Head is awfully bulky, makes it hard to get in tricky spots, like my bony ankles, and around knees
*My husband has the regular Schick Hydro- I think it does a better job in general
*After more than a minute of use, the moisture strip gets way too gooey
In general, I like the razor a lot, but I think I'll probably keep using the Schick Hydro blades on the Hydro Silk handle- they do a better job, aren't as bulky, and we buy them for my husband anyway.
